Handmade and made to last, the basket bags, known as  Kodai - •ைட, is a traditional craft from the Chettinadu region in Tamil Nadu. The CHEYYUR bag is hand-woven in the 'Sada' knot with recycled plastic, they are a great alternative to single-use plastic bags and are washable to be used over and over again. Use them as your grocery bags, handbags, or shopper. 

The bags are named after the villages in Tamil  Nadu, where the bags are ethically handmade, providing a fair living for the women who learn this craft as a part of their childhood.

This piece is made to order and will take 3-4 weeks to be shipped out. We know this is a long time, but it is a time-consuming process as each piece is hand-crafted.

Each of our products is made to order. There are no returns or exchanges applicable to this product. If the product is damaged, defective, or incorrectly delivered, we will evaluate and replace the piece for you. All replacement requests are to be made within 5 days of receiving the order.
