Content of the website is intended solely for the personal, noncommercial use by the users of our Site.

All the content included on this site, such as text, graphics(the ones copyright JODI), logos, designs, images, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of JODI and protected by India and International copyright laws.

Our visual content on the website showcases our inspiration behind every creation. Please note these images have been sourced via the internet and are not being used for commercial purposes. They are merely to express the story and mood behind every piece.

Each of our products and prints are the intellectual property of JODI. These pieces and prints can not be used without our consent and are protected by India and International copyright laws.

JODI may contact you or provide you with service-related and/or promotional notices by means of postal mail, electronic mail, general site notifications and more using the contact information you have provided to us.

Exchange Policy : 

We invest a great deal of love and care in the making of each JODI piece. As a company policy we do not provide refunds on any product sold. Once the JODI pieces are sold they can be exchanged for replacement or a credit note (provided the aforementioned terms and conditions are met). If for some reason, you are unsure of the size or we’ve missed a spot and you’d like to exchange them, you can write to us at orders@thejodilife.com within 7 days of receiving your order and someone from our customer care team will contact you within 1-2 business days and will guide you through the process of returning and exchanging the JODI pieces. They may request for further information/photographs to assess your return request. Please assist them.

Exchange DISCLAIMER : 

1. If a piece is exchanged once, it cannot be exchanged the second time.
2. Please note that not all products are eligible for exchange. All made to order products are non returnable and non exchangeable. In order to maintain fairness to our artisans and craftsmen, as well as keep our prices fair, many items are "Final Sale." Please make it a point to understand which products are eligible for returns before purchasing.
3. All products bought on sale are not acceptable for exchange. 
4. For international exchanges the rules are different. For all international exchanges the cost of shipping and customs clearance for you to send back your order and the cost to receive your exchange order will have to be borne by you. If there is a damaged product then we take care of the shipping costs only once we have confirmed such a situation in an email to you. 

Product Colours

We have made every effort possible to ensure the colours are displayed as accurately as possible. We cannot guarantee your computer’s monitor will accurately display the true colour. If you have any questions about the colour of an item please contact orders@thejodilife.com prior to placing your order.

Pricing Policy

At JODI, we are committed to providing our customers with the best prices for pieces that are handcrafted. Our products are sold online and through retail. The prices applicable are those indicated on the website on the date of the order. Once you have completed the purchase order, and before making payment, you will be provided with a final overview identifying the article(s) acquired and the total price (including shipping and taxes).

Site Use

You cannot access or use the JODI website for any illegal or unauthorised purpose. Also, you agree that no comments or other user submissions submitted by you to the JODI website will violate any right of any third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy or other personal rights. TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR SALE PERIOD

During Sale

• We usually include select products on sale-both online and in store.
• We do our best to ship every product after all quality checks. Unless a wrong/broken/damaged/poor condition piece has been shipped to the customer, we, unfortunately, do not accept the exchange or return of discounted products.
• In case of any discrepancy in the pricing of a discounted product on account of human error, the amount that appears in the system will be deemed final.
• We experience high volumes during the sale and will be unable to cancel any order due to shipment delays. However, we reserve the right to cancel an order on account of the non-availability of goods.
• We try our best to fulfil every order. In case a product in our inventory does not meet our quality check, we may have to cancel the order.
• Accounting and encashment of credit notes would make those orders ineligible for any further exchanges or refunds.
• All Duties & Taxes for international orders will apply as per the rules of the shipping destination and will be borne by the customer.
• We are an omni channel business and ship orders from multiple locations. You may receive your order in more than one package at different times. Rest assured, you will be kept informed every time a package is shipped.
• All T&Cs mentioned here are over and above our standard T&Cs.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS COMPLAINTS

GIFT CARDS

1. Gift Cards can be redeemed online at www.thejodilife.com.
2. Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase other Gift Cards
3. If the order value exceeds the Gift Card amount, the balance must be paid by Credit Card/Debit Card/Internet Banking.
4. Gift Cards will expire after 1 year from the date of issue and any corresponding unused balance shall be forfeited thereafter
5. Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for Cash or Credit
6. You are solely responsible for the safety and security of the Gift Cards
7. Gift Card number is confidential. In the event of any misuse of Gift Card due to loss of any such confidential details due to the fault of the purchaser, JODIshall not be responsible for the same and no refund can be issued
8. Validity of Gift Cards cannot be extended, new Gift Cards cannot be provided against the expired/unused Gift Cards
9. Gift Cards are a Prepaid Instrument subjected to regulations by the Reserve Bank of India. JODI will be legally required to share the details of the purchase of the Gift Cards and/or transaction undertaken using the Gift Card with RBI or such statutory authorities.
10. A Gift card once purchased cannot be cancelled and no refund is applicable.
11. A Gift Card purchased in INR cannot be converted to USD and vice versa.

 

DELIVERY

JODI endeavours but does not guarantee delivery of products in the stipulated time period as mentioned on the purchase of the product. In no manner can the contract be repudiated if JODI fails to deliver any one or more products in the stipulated time frame. However, if you fail to take the delivery of the goods, JODI may at its discretion charge you for additional shipping cost.

LOSS IN TRANSIT OR DAMAGES

JODI shall make all endeavours to deliver defect free products to the purchasers. JODI does not take title to any returned items purchased by the user unless the item is received by JODI. Any item purchased on our website does not qualify for any exchange unless the product delivered is damaged or has manufacturing defects. The defective and/or damaged goods so received shall be communicated to JODI within 48 hours of its receipt. Any communication received after 48 hours of delivery shall not qualify for return unless expressly covered by the product warranty even in case the said product has been wrongly delivered.

JODI holds the sole discretion to determine whether a refund can be issued.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS

Products displayed on JODI attempts to be as accurate as possible. However, JODI does not warrant that product descriptions or other content is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product offered by JODI is not as described, your sole remedy is to contact JODI within 48 hours of receipt and JODI riser vest the right to provide a solution as per its discretion. JODI is not liable to issue any refunds or allow exchanges and/or returns as a matter of policy.

Products displayed/ sold on the JODI website are manufactured/ procured as per the applicable Local Laws of India and are in conformity with the required Indian industry standards.

FORCE MAJEURE

Failure on the part of JODI to perform any of its obligations and the non-furnishing of the Service, shall not entitle you to raise any claim against JODI or be a breach hereunder to the extent that such failure arises from an event of Force Majeure. If through force Majeure the fulfillment by either party of any obligation set forth in this Agreement will be delayed, the period of such delay will not be counted on in computing periods prescribed by this Agreement. Force Majeure will include any war, civil commotion, strike, governmental action, lockout, accident, epidemic or any other event of any nature or kind whatsoever beyond the control of JODI that directly or indirectly hinders or prevents JODI from commencing or proceeding with consummation of the transactions contemplated hereby. You expressly agree that lack of funds shall not in any event constitute or be considered an event of Force Majeure.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION

This agreement shall be construed and the legal relations between YOU and JODI hereto shall be determined and governed according to the laws of India. If any dispute arises between you and JODI regarding your use of the Website or Your dealing with JODI in relation to any activity on the Website, in connection with the validity, interpretation, implementation or breach of any provision of the Terms & Conditions and/or Privacy Policy including but not limited to the rules and policies contained herein, the dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction to the Courts of New Delhi.

Your obligations to pay the Payment Fees shall not be suspended during the pendency of such proceedings.

GRIEVANCE

Any grievances you have by way of use of the website can be addressed to the ‘Customer Care’ by way of email to orders@thejodilife.com

The ‘Customer Care’ shall thereafter consider the same and provide a response within one month of the date of such complaint/ grievance.

GOVERNING LAW
