Framed Wicker Basket

A durable and sturdy handcrafted water hyacinth basket makes for a minimal storage solution  with an eco-conscious traditional twist. These wicker baskets store clothes, bath towels, toys, umbrellas etc. The handles are attached with a double stitch so as to ensure that they will never come off even during the heavy lift of load.

Water hyacinth are natural, non-toxic fibres which don't go through detrimental processing with chemicals. Rural women collect water hyacinth from the pond. These  are extracted, sun-dried and naturally treated and then artisans hand-weave products. As all our products are handmade, slight differences in colour and texture are a mark of artisans and are expected.

We invest a great deal of love and care in the making of each JODI piece. As a company policy, we do not provide refunds on any product sold. Once the JODI pieces are sold they can be exchanged for replacement or a credit note (provided the aforementioned terms and conditions are met). If for some reason, you are unsure of the size or we’ve missed a spot and you’d like to exchange them, you can write to us at orders@thejodilife.com within 7 days of receiving your order and someone from our customer care team will contact you within 1-2 business days and will guide you through the process of returning and exchanging the JODI pieces. They may request further information/photographs to assess your return request. Please do assist them.
