An iced glass of freshly squeezed lemonade, the view above and clean air to clear the head. This collection was our way of welcoming the warm and humid season, but with a bit of a splash.
Rain is such a physical symbol of respite. And also of beginnings. We travelled to the Pir Panjal mountain ranges this year and were over whelmed to see how - if left to be - nature grows in abundance. It blooms, and flowers and thickens.
To capture this essence of the lush overgrowth, we worked with Mangalgiri cotton, which is woven in South India and has a lovely weight about it. Dense leafy illustrations and cool soothing colours play across yarns of cotton to give way to ‘A (very) JODI MONSOON’.
