Cancellations and Refund

A. RETURN & EXCHANGE ELIGIBILITY
1. 7-Day Window We offer exchanges or store credit for items returned within 7 days of delivery. To be eligible, items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with all tags intact.
2. Non-Returnable Items The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

Items purchased during a Sale or from the ‘Archive’ section.

Customized garments (length or fit alterations).

Accessories, Jewelry, and Home Decor (for hygiene and safety).

International Orders.
B. THE REFUND PROCESS
1. Store Credit Only: To support our slow-fashion ecosystem and artisanal partners, we do not offer bank refunds. All returns are processed as Store Credit (valid for 6 months), which can be redeemed across our website or in our stores. 2. Bank Refunds (Defects Only) Bank refunds are only issued in the rare event of a manufacturing defect or if the wrong product was shipped. In such cases, the refund will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days of the item reaching our studio.
C. DOMESTIC EXCHANGES (INDIA)
1. How to Initiate: To start an exchange, please email us at orders@thejodilife.com or WhatsApp us at +91 91727 90033 within 7 days of delivery. Please mention your Order Number and the item you wish to exchange.
2. Shipping Your Return: We do not offer reverse pickup services at this time. You will need to ship the product back to our Pune studio. We recommend using a reliable courier with tracking, as the package remains your responsibility until it reaches us.
3. Processing Time: Once we receive and inspect your return, we will issue your Store Credit or ship your new size within 3–5 business days.
D. CANCELLATION POLICY
1. 24-Hour Window: As many of our pieces are handcrafted or made-to-order, we only accept cancellations within 24 hours of order placement.
2. Post-Cutting Phase: Once the fabric for your order has been cut (after the 24-hour window), we are unable to cancel or modify the order.
E. DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS
1. Reporting a Defect: Every JODI piece undergoes a strict quality check. However, if you receive a damaged product, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the defect.
2. Resolution: Upon verification, we will arrange for a replacement of the same style at no additional cost. If the style is out of stock, you may choose an alternative or receive a full bank refund.
F. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
1. Final Sale Policy: Due to the high cost of international logistics, customs duties, and taxes, all international orders are Final Sale and are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
2. Alteration Support: If you are traveling to India within 3 months of your order, we are happy to offer complimentary alterations at our stores. Please contact our team via WhatsApp to coordinate.
