It was one of those perfect spring-summer days, where the world seemed to burst with life. The air was warm, softened by a gentle breeze carrying the sweet smell of fresh blooms and grass. One of my dogs, Bailey, dashed ahead, his eyes locked onto the bright blue frisbee I had just thrown. He leapt, twisting mid-air with a skill that made me laugh, landing triumphantly with the frisbee held high. Meanwhile, Milo, my younger pup, was more captivated by the butterflies dancing just above the grass. He bounced and chased, nose twitching as he tried to catch them, his little paws thumping with delight as the butterflies drifted just out of reach. I stood back, taking it all in, feeling a deep sense of calm and awe.

The green stretched endlessly, vibrant and alive, like spring’s own masterpiece. The scene stirred something in me—a nostalgic warmth, a gentle ache for simpler days. A soft smile crept across my face as the breeze brushed my skin, carrying with it a reminder of countless days like this, yet each one unique. Time felt suspended, held by the laughter of my dogs, the rustling leaves, and the sweet warmth of this perfect spring-summer day.
