High-quality Giclee print on 300 GSM watercolor paper of an original painted cyanotype still life of a marble box superimposed with leaves and flowers printed using sunlight.
The Cobalt Company is eponymous to Jodhpur in spirit and colour. They work with a 180 year old vintage photographic printing technique called cyanotype, that uses sunlight to produce a blue coloured print on paper, painted with light sensitive dye. This printing process was originally used to make photograms and architectural blueprints. They have a selection of original photographs of the beautiful architectural and rural landscapes of Rajasthan. Their work also includes botanical photograms and mixed media artwork developed with an emphasis on experimenting with cyanotype.
